Exwold Technology is Europe's leading toll formulators of extruded water dispersible granules (WDG's / DF type). It was founded in 1993 by James Robson who is now the Business Development and Finance Director at the company.

Exwold currently has three manufacturing sites in the Tees Valle (NE England) which can handle over 6,000 tpa of extrusion and a further 10,000 tpa of coated or impregnated granules (GR type).

In 2010 the company is planning to open a 4th site which will be specially designed for, and dedicated to, the formulation and packing of High Potency herbicides (like Sulphonylureas) using the low pressure extrusion process.
